Professional Photographers Are Better
So remember how I took pictures of my sister's wedding reception just for fun? Yeah...mine weren't good. Just wanted to get some shots for myself and my family. BUT my sister's photographer whom also happens to be our cousin took wonderfully beautiful profesh pictures. So here are a few of my faves from my sister's reception.

My Sister's Wedding - The Reception
My little sister's reception was so much fun! It was great talking and laughing with all our friends and family, eating delicious food, and even dancing for a little bit at the end. My sister and I both had our reception in our parents' backyard yet the receptions were totally different, which if you know my sister and I then you know how different we are! Her reception was rustic yet still elegant, I loved it and it had some fun details!
Disclaimer: I am not a photographer at all. But I haven't gotten or seen the photographer's pictures from the reception yet, so these will do. ALL I AM SAYING IS...don't judge.
Matson caught them driving away in the Audi, but my siblings and I (besides my little sis, of course) were busy fixing up part of the backyard for the next surprise! More to come about this night tomorrow!

I didn't get many pictures of the food...Apparently I like carbs because I only got pictures of the Ice Cream Sandwiches, Rolls, and the Cake.

My Sister's Wedding - The Temple
August 24, 2012
My little sister and her fiance stepped into the Draper LDS Temple to be married and sealed for time and all eternity. It was a special event.
And let's not talk about how my brothers, Matson, and I being the last ones to arrive at the temple...wasn't my fault!

My Sister's Wedding - The Night Before
Matson and I got back after our Anniversary Surprise Getaway just in time to go to my little sister's Night Before Wedding Dinner. The groom's family held the dinner at Riverside Country Club and it was yummy food! We walked right in and got to see all of our family and catch up with them who had come into town! It was a great night. It was fun to tell stories about our stubborn, hilarious, brave, and cute little sister and it was also great to get to know my sister's fiance's family and hear stories about him too! It wouldn't be a wedding event without tears either, it was very special. And when I say tears...I mean tears of joy from my dad.
After the wedding dinner we had some little prep work at my parent's house for the reception. We put up my sister's favorite detail about her wedding the famous ribbon canopy. It was cool to see her vision come alive. Plus, she even listened to some of my uh-mazing advice to make it even cooler.

I got to sit by this cutie (my cousin's youngest son) and he entertained me for the night! Plus, he ate my onions for me! Who has ever heard of a 1.5 year old eating onions?
But I think he like Matson a little more than me. They played all night.

Set up of the canopy. It looks ugly in this pic. But we added more to it and it looked so pretty the night of the reception!

Annual Anniversary Picture
Time has flown by. Two weeks ago it was our anniversary and so much has happened since! Lots to update you all on, that's for sure. But for now I will leave you with our annual anniversary picture. I know we are so weird and take the same picture coming out of an LDS Temple around our anniversary because so many people get married in August (the crazy wedding month) so we get to be at the temple for weddings a lot and my cousin, a photographer, snaps one of us.
1st Anniversary Picture Post HERE.
